When discussing contending for the championship with Team Japan, Chinese players said players from Team Japan were quite competitive. Before the match, the Chinese team had made full preparation and training; therefore, both girls played patiently and resolutely to gain the gold medal during the game.

Commenting on Team China’s performance, Team Japan said although it was a pity that they only got second place, they felt proud that they could contend for the gold medal with Team China at the same stage. They praised that Chinese women’s beach volleyball players were excellent and strong.

This victory means six consecutive championships for the Chinese women’s beach volleyball team in the Asian Games from 2002 until now. It also means both Chinese players from this match have garnered their third gold medal from the Asian Games, respectively. What drives the Chinese beach volleyball team to keep such gold-winning records? Both players shared the growing process of the Chinese beach volleyball team. According to their introduction, all achievements could not be separated from inheritance. Their predecessors were trained hard to win the first gold medal for China in international beach volleyball events. Then, their experience was passed down to the following generations, who pursued higher standards and were trained with higher requirements.

Mentioning their next goal for the Chinese beach volleyball team, Chinese players said that the Hangzhou Asian Games was like a mid-term exam before they competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. They were making all-out efforts to gain more points step by step and earn early qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
