Chongqing - On October 11, the global high-end smart electric vehicle (SEV) brand Avatr 12 rolled off the assembly line in Chongqing, which is set to be officially available for delivery.

As the first sports sedan from Avatr Technology, the Avatr 12 was revealed at the IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich, Germany, on September 5. From its global debut in Munich to smooth production in just one month, the Avatr 12's leading achievements in intelligent manufacturing for its class once again affirm the high-quality and efficient nature of the CHN platform.

The CHN platform, composed of Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, jointly establishing the leading intelligent electric vehicle technology platform, has empowered Avatr Technology in the areas of whole vehicle R&D, intelligent manufacturing, smart automotive solutions, and smart energy ecology, characterized by new architecture, strong computing, and high-voltage charging. This also marks a significant step for Avatr as it enters a brand-new development phase.

More natural human-vehicle interaction experience

The Avatr 12 model emphasizes emotional interaction with users. For instance, its HALO screen is a standout feature. Located between the windshield and the hood, this screen provides a unique welcome interaction for the vehicle owner. Compared to the HALO screen in the Avatr 11, the resolution has increased fivefold.

"The Avatr 12 is not only designed with a futuristic and technological aesthetic but is also powered by Huawei's intelligent technology, combining both form and function," said Chi Linchun, Vice President of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU. "Technology changes the world, and the Avatr 12 will bring you a completely new travel experience."

In terms of the Avatr 12's interior, careful observation reveals unexpected details. For example, a hidden storage space inside the car doors remains concealed until activated. In the center console, there's a wireless charging pad for mobile phones. When a user places their phone on it to charge, the pad automatically sinks down to provide protection against acceleration-induced phone displacement.

In addition to these practical and aesthetically pleasing designs, the Avatr 12 showcases leading-edge intelligent technology. The model is equipped with the HarmonyOS 4.0 in-car system. It offers greater convenience and smart services through its 15.6-inch floating screen, facilitating a more natural human-vehicle interaction experience for every owner.

Huawei's advanced ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system

The Avatr 12 also features Huawei's advanced ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system, reducing reliance on high-precision maps to achieve an extremely intelligent driving experience that covers all scenarios, including highways, urban roads, and parking.
