Chongqing - On November 1, VALORANT introduced its first Chinese Duelist agent, ISO, captivating players worldwide. Coinciding with the launch, the "Valorant Chongqing Special Challenge" was vibrantly showcased in Chongqing's iconic Danzishi Old Street.

The event unfolded in two phases. On October 31, players were granted an exclusive preview, getting hands-on experience with the new agent. Numerous players dressed in cosplay as game characters to bolster the event's spirit. This was followed by a riveting challenge from November 1 to 5, adopting an intense offensive and defensive system played in a best-of-five (BO5) format.

In October 2019, Riot Games from the United States introduced VALORANT, initially codenamed "Project A." This first-person tactical shooter quickly captivated hundreds of millions of global players. Fast-forward to September 2021, when Tencent revealed plans to bring VALORANT to the Chinese audience. By December 2022, it had earned a spot in the World Cyber Games esports lineup.

Now, the game embraces its first Chinese agent - ISO. A personification of Chongqing, China, ISO embodies the city's spirit of loyalty, courage, and integrity. Known for never yielding to defeat and only growing stronger with each challenge, ISO infuses VALORANT with his indomitable spirit. This synergy between ISO and the VALORANT universe offers players a visual spectacle of emotional encounters.

In honor of ISO's debut, VALORANT is offering a state-of-the-art interactive experience at Chongqing's historic Danzishi Old Street. From November 1 to 5, players have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the allure of this new agent and pit their skills against elite competitors.
