Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo to Open on Nov. 16

Chongqing - Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center (Nanping) will host the 12th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo (CQCIE) and the Baiyu Cultural Heritage and Development Precious Products Exhibition from November 16 to 19.

Under the theme of "Promoting Cultural Inheritance and Development to Prosper the Cultural Tourism Consumer Market," cultural expos in Chongqing aim to boost consumption, pool resources, build platforms for customers and businesses, and drive the high-quality development of the city's cultural and creative industries.

The expo spans approximately 20,000 square meters and features three theme pavilions and eight display areas. 

The Belt and Road Initiative Pavilion includes two major sections: the National Cultural Exhibition and the Belt and Road Commodity Market. Institutions from Togo, Ghana, Malaysia, Pakistan, Belarus, the Philippines, and Poland will showcase exotic cultural products. The Tea Culture Pavilion will exhibit exquisite intangible cultural heritage works and craft art and a new business model that integrates tea production and cultural tourism. The Urban Integration Pavilion will exhibit a dazzling array of cultural products and new cultural inheritance and development advancements.

This Precious Products Exhibition aims to boost sales and revitalize the market. It will highlight the diversity of cultural products and the attention-grabbing content they offer, enhance market consumption confidence with the credibility of brand products, as well as layout the cultural market activity in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.

Forums and exchange conferences are also a key feature of this expo. The Cross-Strait Tea Culture Inheritance and Development Forum will invite experts, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss the theme of "Chinese Tea with Fragrance of Chongqing and Taiwan." The forum will explore the intersection of Chongqing's tea culture heritage and innovation, cultural creativity in tea brand development, and the latest trends in tea culture.
