The Tramway, once a means of transportation in Chongqing, is a part of the memories of many Chongqing people, which brought great convenience to public travel. In the 1950s, there were several Tramway lines in Southwest China's Chongqing. However, only one in Chongqing's Changshou District is still in operation today. 

But this nostalgia becomes more accessible to appreciate in the future! The Time Tramway was officially announced and opened on Monday in Chongqing's Lijia Intelligent Park. With the investment of the Liangjiang Industry Group, this newly opened Time Tramway is about 550 meters long with a drop of 120 meters. It runs for about 4 minutes each way (speed 2.4 m/s), and the carriage capacity is 50 passengers. 

Chongqing is a city built on mountains, and the unique topography made this particular mode of transportation the best means of communication in the 1950s. The Time Tramway's opening has become a favorite transportation for tourists, and they can enjoy a more complete and diverse landscape view of the Jialing River in Liangjiang New Area.
