Chongqing - Chongqing Youth Film Festival (CQYFF), the annual grand cultural feast, opened on Wednesday. Filmmakers and movie lovers in Chongqing gathered at the UME cinema to celebrate the 10-year milestones and share their stories with movies.

The activities of this year's Chongqing Youth Film Festival will last for five days until November 26th. This year's festival includes the Feature Film Competition, Short Film Competition, Project Venture Capital Meeting, Filmmakers' Salon, Open-Air Screening, Special Screening of Bashu Impression, The Essence of Latin America, Special Tribute: Pema Tseden, and Special Screening of IAFFF's 'Animals in the Future Ecology and other activity sessions.

Since its inception in 2014, the Chongqing Youth Film Festival has been committed to discovering young filmmakers and promoting high-quality film works, setting up a communication platform for domestic and foreign young filmmakers and audiences, and after ten years of development, it has now become one of the most large-scale and influential professional film festivals in Southwest China.
