The bottle, named "Meijian," is captivating with its elegant drawing of "Wan Heng Xiang Xue," an artwork that captures the early Qing Dynasty views of snowy scenes in Suzhou. Its warm yellow and black color scheme exudes a sense of calm sophistication. This design has not only revived the ancient plum wine but also resonated with the youthful aesthetics of today.

Meijian Green Plum Wine has transcended language barriers in France, becoming a recognized symbol of Chinese elegance and romantic style. In June 2022, Meijian debuted at the Louvre's Petit Maupassant International Art Joint Creation Tour Exhibition, which was later featured at Paris's Moon Festival, highlighting China-France culinary fusion. In December, it impressed at Paris's Téléthon charity dinner, receiving accolades from many Cordon Bleu chefs.

The innovative design of consumer products has revitalized traditional plum wine, restoring its glory and elevating Chongqing's oriental-flavored plum wine to global fame, making it a symbol of the city in the international culinary world.

Liu Guanzhong, a professor at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, is known as the "Father of Industrial Design in China," emphasized the role of design in interpreting China's development. He advocates for designers to integrate product and industrial innovation, guided by national policy and a deep understanding of sustainable design practices.

Chongqing's consumer goods industry pioneers a design revolution, creatively incorporating the city's iconic architectural elements, like the Great Hall of the People and Liziba Station, into products such as tea sets and lamps. This innovative approach is reshaping the local economy and brand identities.

Luo Li, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, highlighted the growing role of creative design in elevating the consumer goods market, and an increasing number of Chongqing enterprises prioritize design as a critical strategy for success.

Chongqing-based automobile manufacturers like Changan and Seres are riding this wave of innovation. Their recent launches of intelligent connected new energy vehicles, Deepal and AITO, have been a hit in the market thanks to bold design choices that resonate with consumers.

Zhou Ligang, the founder of Hangzhou Bole Industrial Design Co., Ltd., notes that good design is essential in today's market, where consumers seek products with cultural and aesthetic value. This trend pushes brands to reinvent themselves and tap into new market potentials.

The construction of a comprehensive design industry ecosystem in Chongqing, involving live stream bases, incubation centers, intelligent manufacturing, industry alliances, and funds, is a testament to the city's commitment to high-quality consumer goods development.

This ecosystem, complemented by events like the China (Chengdu-Chongqing) Food Industry Expo and the Yujian Meipin Cup International Consumer Goods Innovation and Design Competition, is set to propel the city and its products onto the global stage, marking a new era in China's consumer product design.
