Chongqing - Media delegates from Indonesia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka visited Chongqing from December 19 to 22. They explored the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone and Chongqing Jinshan Science & Technology, delving into the city's scientific and technological achievements.

Ignasius Hendrasmo, President Director of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), commended Chongqing's R&D efforts during his December 20 visit. He lauded China's innovation as a global model, including inspiration for Indonesia.

RRI, Indonesia's state radio network, headquartered in Central Jakarta, serves as a global public broadcasting service, reaching Indonesians worldwide through its Voice of Indonesia division.

The Liangjiang New Area stands out in Chongqing with its robust industrial base and rich innovation resources. It is home to 50 universities and research institutes and is a key player in the city's economic growth and technological advancements.

Furthermore, the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Mingyue Lake is developing measures to support enterprise growth, talent acquisition, and R&D innovation. These initiatives aim to foster an international environment conducive to developing the digital science and technology industry.

Sudarshana Gunawardana, Chairman of Sri Lanka's Independent Television Network (ITN), highlighted Sri Lanka's digital economy focus and emphasized technology transfer and international cooperation. ITN, the pioneer TV channel in Sri Lanka, broadcasts to 99% of the island.

Gunawardana noted Sri Lankan firms collaborate globally in electric vehicle chargers, expressing interest in future partnerships with Chongqing. He also discussed Sri Lanka's use of public-private partnerships and open attitude towards international investment in airport renovation and logistics projects.

Prakash Babu Paudel, Chairman of Ray Media Group, one of the emerging media companies in Nepal, praised Jinshan Group for its advanced medical technologies, particularly its painless, non-invasive capsule endoscope development. This innovation marks a significant contribution to patient care and medical diagnostics.

Established in 1998, Jinshan Group has become a leader in digital medical equipment, with reputable products recognized in over 100 countries. The company's focus on MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) technology has led to successful economic and trade cooperation, especially in the Belt and Road co-building countries.

This visit deepened the international media's understanding of Chongqing's industry and culture and laid a foundation for future international exchanges and cooperation.
