Chongqing - Changan Automobile's first batch of right-hand drive Deepal models, the S07 and L07, are currently being shipped to Thailand and ready to be delivered to international customers.
This milestone delivery follows Changan Automobile's recent Southeast Asia brand launch, which has garnered recognition in the local market, securing over 3,000 orders within a month.

Facing the surging demand, Changan Automobile has shifted gears into full production mode. At its Nanjing plant, the monthly production capacity for right-hand drive vehicles surged to 3,000 units, ensuring prompt delivery of the products.
Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Changan Automobile, expressed the company's ambition to serve as a crucial link bridging China and Thailand. He envisions a promising future alongside Thai partners, underpinned by innovative technology, new products, brands, and new manufacturing bases.
Beyond the Deepal series, Changan has outlined an extensive strategy for the Southeast Asian market, introducing the Avatr and Nevo brands. By 2030, the company aims to unveil 15 new energy products tailored for diverse global consumer segments.
Changan plans to invest 20 billion Thai Baht in setting up a right-hand drive production base in Royong, Thailand. This facility, expected to start operations in early 2025, will initially have a capacity to produce 100,000 vehicles annually and is currently under steady construction.

The year 2023 witnessed Changan Automobile's cumulative sales exceeding 2.55 million units. Notably, the overseas sales of its independent brands surpassed 230,000 vehicles, marking a historic high.
Changan Automobile enjoys a robust global presence, boasting 73 subsidiaries, 22 factories, and a product reach spanning 63 countries and regions. Collaborations with over 1,100 global suppliers and 9,300 dealerships underscore the extensive network the company has established.
By 2030, Changan Automobile aims to reach a global sales milestone of 5 million units, rank among the top 10 global automakers, and exceed 1.2 million annual sales internationally. Their strategy includes advancing intelligent and core "three-electric" technologies (electric drive module, motor, and electrical control unit) and launching new models like the E07 and C318.
