Chongqing - On February 5, the Seres Super Factory opened and started operations in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, marking the occasion with the first Seres M9 delivery ceremony and showcasing a thousand new vehicles ready for the roads.

Constructed to meet global leading standards and designed for industrial internet needs, the super factory exemplifies high efficiency, intelligence, advanced technology, and environmental sustainability.

The factory's expansive workshop structures surpass the usual size of new energy vehicle plants, covering over 2,700 acres—comparable to more than 200 football fields. Its casting, welding, and final assembly workshops convey a remarkable sense of scale.

The factory also showcases its technological prowess with hundreds of robotic arms performing complex tasks, supported by over 1,000 intelligent devices and 3,000 robots working in unison. A fleet of logistics robots efficiently moves through production lines with minimal human oversight.

"Our production line's level of automation sets a global benchmark," said a Seres representative. Notably, the factory achieves over 50% automation in critical processes such as battery pack assembly, suspension, and dashboard installation, surpassing industry norms.

Advanced automation testing technology at the factory guarantees detailed quality control and traceability, emphasizing the commitment to product excellence. Intelligent equipment and superior inspection technology ensure each Seres M9's quality, contributing to its top-five ranking in China's luxury car sales in January.

The Seres M9, a high-end vehicle developed by Seres and Huawei, has attracted over 40,000 pre-orders since its December launch, produced at this cutting-edge Seres Super Factory.
