At the heart of these festivities was the Fire Dragon, the most iconic symbol of dragon dance in Tongliang. Against the backdrop of the night sky, ablaze with molten iron glowing at a searing temperature of 1500°C, bare-chested dragon dancers wove their way through the streets with remarkable skill.
