From February 13 to 15, the airport continuously set new daily records for passenger numbers, reaching between 159,500 and 163,200, each surpassing the previous record of 158,500.

From February 10 to 15, during the Lunar New Year's first six days, the airport managed over 5,680 flights, up 23.72% from last year, and saw passenger numbers exceed 926,000, a 33.50% increase from the previous Spring Festival.

Travel routes from Chongqing to major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Sanya, and Kunming were among the most popular, reflecting a high demand for travel to and from these destinations. The increase in passenger traffic was due to both local residents and non-resident workers returning for the holiday, showing a varied group of travelers at the airport.

To manage increased passenger volumes, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has introduced new services, including a courtesy service offering personalized assistance, exclusive check-in, and priority boarding for first-time flyers, elderly passengers, those with infants and young children, and disabled travelers.

Furthermore, the airport has launched a free overnight service, offering travelers comfortable rest areas with blankets, luggage storage, electronic libraries, and shared charging stations. This initiative reflects the airport's commitment to providing a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

The airport has extended its free shuttle service between Terminals 2 and 3 to operate 24/7. It has enhanced health and safety with accessible medical kits, daily medical staff patrols, and a 24-hour health center to ensure a safe environment for travelers.
