Hannover Messe 2024 Highlights Chongqing’s Premier Manufacturers, Sparks Collaboration Talks

Chongqing - From April 22 to 26, Hannover Messe 2024, Germany's top industrial technology event, featured eight leading manufacturing enterprises from Chongqing, China.

These eight enterprises hail from diverse sectors, including automotive parts manufacturing, information transmission, software and IT services, and electronic packaging materials development.

Innovative products showcased included high-precision gears and high-speed motor shafts from Chongqing Landai Transmission Co., Ltd., dual-circuit DC energy meters by Chongqing Blue Jay Technology Co., Ltd., and advanced industrial collaborative welding robots with collision detection features from Chongqing Huashu Robot Co., Ltd.

Chongqing Hifuture Information Technology Co., Ltd. unveiled 14 cutting-edge products featuring flexible charging stacks and cable accessories. "Participating in international exhibitions allows us to quickly introduce our specialized products to a global audience, creating significant market opportunities," said the company spokesperson.

"We introduced and promoted our products to potential partners, jointly discussing their performance and pricing," said the spokesperson from Chongqing Qunwin Electronic Materials Co, Ltd. Interacting with top global enterprises at the event provided them a valuable chance to discuss future cooperation and explore industry-leading technological advancements.

78 foreign enterprises explore "Made in Chongqing" brand

A special tour program at the Hannover Convention Center on April 23 promoted the "Made in Chongqing" brand. Over 110 representatives from 78 foreign companies attended, fostering fruitful networking and partnership discussions.

"We aim to leverage this platform to seek broader, higher-level, and deeper industrial collaborations," stated Luo Li, Deputy Director of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economic and Information Technology. 

Luo warmly invited visionaries to become "city partners" of Chongqing, underlining that grasping industrial development dynamics and cultivating global partnerships are Chongqing's fundamental objectives at Hannover Messe.

Liang Meixia, Counselor of the Commercial Division of the Chinese Consulate General in Hamburg (Germany), praised the Chongqing delegation's presence and the city's technological innovation and industrial digitization. She expressed optimism for enhanced cooperation.

Andreas Beil, Secretary General of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), noted that German enterprises stand to gain from China's rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, new energy, and biomedicine. He emphasized the ample opportunities for collaboration and mutual learning between China and Germany in these fields.

As the fair concluded, Chongqing's exhibitors reported successful negotiations and potential partnerships, including discussions between Landai Transmission and German suppliers, as well as international business interactions facilitated by Guangyu Mingdao Digital Technology Co., Ltd.

The ongoing cooperation between Chongqing and Germany continues to strengthen, with 84 German enterprises currently invested in Chongqing and 20 Chongqing enterprises expanding in the German market.
