Chongqing - The 8th Class Talent Competition and Class Uniform Designing Competition was recently held at the Sichuan International Studies University (SISU). As one of SISU’s special brand activities, this year’s competition aimed to cultivate creative youth in the new era and prepare them to be qualified “constructors” of Chinese modernization.

A total of 37 classes from 12 colleges participated in this competition. After fierce rivalry, 12 teams finally made the final competition. In the final phase, the 12 teams competed for the final awards by displaying their classes’ VCRs, which presented students’ diversified campus life, class uniforms with creative designs, and unique talents.

At the competition, students presented diverse and fantastic performances to the audience to show their talents not only in multilingual but also in singing, dancing, art creativities, and so forth. For instance, winners of the top ten singers on campus passionately sang the song “Save Your Tears.” In the song, they ingeniously integrated French, Spanish, and English. Students majoring in Russian staged a performance called "It's Cold," (“холодно,” in Russian) which vividly unfolded the unique charm of Russian culture. What’s worth mentioning is the class uniform designed by the International Business Administration College class. The uniform was designed based on the style of the Chinese traditional dress, cheongsam. Wearing their uniforms and giving a performance blended with modern elements showed the quality of carrying forward the tradition with inclusiveness and innovation.
