Optoelectronic technology expert Zhou Yuxi said in a recent interview that the significance of the Belt and Road International Skills Competition extends far beyond that of a mere competition. For the competition in this June, coaches and participants from around the world will have the opportunity to gather and discuss exchanges and cooperation in the technical field to promote the further development of optoelectronic technology. 

Zhou Yuxi, an expert of the World Skills Organization, has focused on technological innovation and skilled talent training in the field of optoelectronic technology. Zhou mentioned that this competition not only requires contestants to have an in-depth understanding of lighting and display-related equipment and technical specifications but also mastery of engineering drawing analysis, network operation failure analysis, and the entire process of lighting display construction.

"I hope that through this competition, we can establish closer ties with teams from various countries and engage in joint training to enhance the competitive level," Zhou said. As an important part of modern science and technology, optoelectronic technology has been widely used globally. He hopes that through platforms like the Belt and Road International Skills Competition, more outstanding talents will be drawn into the research and application of optoelectronic technology, thereby collectively advancing the technology in this field.
