Li Lanping, customs manager at the logistics base, emphasized that the results are due to partnerships with over 20 large and medium-sized enterprises.

He highlighted daily client communication for safe, timely cargo delivery, leveraging Guoyuan Port's advanced transportation infrastructure and "water-rail-road" logistics networks. This strategic approach has expanded the base's freight forwarding business and integrated logistics services.

Guoyuan Port National Logistics Hub is building a bulk commodity trading platform to improve online and offline trading and supply chain financial logistics services. This will enhance the distribution of grains, coal, steel, and minerals.

In the first quarter of 2024, the base handled over 150 TEUs, more than 15,000 tons of bulk cargo, and transported over 1,900 vehicles, with services covering multiple domestic and international regions.

The logistics base has expanded its bulk trade procurement, surpassing contracts for titanium dioxide, ferrochrome, and electrolytic manganese, with a total value exceeding 57 million yuan as of March.

Another key highlight of the base's growth is the expanding food cold chain trade. By March, over 2,300 tons of products worth over 110 million yuan were procured, meeting local demand for imported meat.

High-quality frozen beef, chicken, and other products from Australia, New Zealand, and Belarus are transported to Chongqing via Guoyuan Port and cleared at designated inspection sites.
