The 4th Dragon Boat Open (Wulong Station) of Chongqing and the 17th Furong River Dragon Boat Championship were recently held in Wulong, Chongqing, with 18 teams from Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, and other provincial regions participating.

The competition featured two events: the 22-person dragon boat 200-meter straight race and the 22-person dragon boat 500-meter straight race. The races included preliminary heats, ranking races, small finals, and finals. After fierce competition, the Hechuan team claimed first place.
Dragon boat racing is a traditional custom of the Dragon Boat Festival and a popular water sport. Wulong, located in the lower reaches of the Wujiang River, is a city born and prospered by the river. The tradition of dragon boat racing has existed there since ancient times. The dragon boat spirit has inspired generations of Wulong people, who have worked hard to advance and ride the waves during the 30 years of developing Wulong tourism.
