This initiative, involving key partners such as China Mobile Group Chongqing Company Limited (Chongqing Mobile) and video communication provider VISIONVERA, aims to create a hub for arithmetic innovation in the West, leveraging green energy.

Yuzhong District, the urban core of Chongqing municipality in Southwest China, stands at the forefront of communication technology. It offers comprehensive 5G and gigabit fiber optic Internet services and hosts industry leaders like CISDI Group Co., Ltd., fostering a cluster specializing in industrial software, IT services, and blockchain. Last year, the digital economy in Yuzhong saw an impressive 11.3% growth in value.

The district's push to enhance computational capabilities aligns with national efforts to integrate arithmetic networks, boosting economic and computational synergy. Yuzhong chose to partner with Hami, which offers significant renewable energy and competitive electricity costs, with 66% of its capacity from new energy.

The collaboration will concentrate on enhancing digitalization and intelligence across various sectors, including the arithmetic economy, culture, tourism, and commerce.

"The initiative is challenging given the 4,000-kilometer distance between Yuzhong and Hami, but essential for maintaining data safety and stability," stated Wu Yabing, an official from Yuzhong District.

A critical aspect of the partnership involves reducing latency to address potential delays in data transmission. Wu emphasized the necessity of low latency for processing valuable “hot data” in dynamic fields like the industrial Internet and financial technology.

To achieve this, they are implementing VERSIONVERA's V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) Visual Networking technology, ensuring data transmission delays under 30 milliseconds, virtually imperceptible to the human eye.

Additionally, Chongqing Mobile is set to leverage its resources to boost the arithmetic infrastructure in both Xinjiang and Chongqing, aiming to enhance the integration of arithmetic and AI applications and foster innovation across the network and power grid.

The implications of this initiative are vast. "The Western Arithmetic and Electricity Co-innovation Center will serve not only Yuzhong District but also propel development across Sichuan, Chongqing, and neighboring areas, creating a significant hub for arithmetic innovation and application based on sustainable energy," said Luo Yi, Vice District Mayor of Yuzhong District People's Government.
