Chongqing - On June 7, Chongqing hosted the inaugural conference of the Chongqing SME Digital Transformation Service Alliance and the digital transformation training event.
The Chongqing SME Digital Transformation Service Alliance was officially established, guided by the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission. The first batch includes over 60 members, including public service institutions, digital transformation service providers, universities, research institutes, and financial institutions.
At the event, Wu Tao, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission, shared updates on the digital transformation of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs). Chongqing has completed diagnostics for over 3,300 specialized SMEs, guided five platforms to transform over 150 key SMEs, and Yubei District became a national pilot city for SME digital transformation. The city's SME digital transformation is progressing systematically and rapidly.
The Chongqing SME Digital Transformation Service Alliance was established to support the city's comprehensive digital transformation efforts. It unites government, digital service providers, universities, research institutes, and financial institutions to create a platform for resource sharing and cooperation, offering multi-level services and support for SMEs in Chongqing.
During the inaugural conference, representatives from the alliance, SME service platforms, digital transformation enterprises, financial institutions, and experts discussed the alliance's establishment. They proposed leveraging the alliance's strengths, integrating resources, and providing services like evaluation, diagnosis, investment, financing, and talent training to create a digital transformation ecosystem for SMEs in Chongqing, effectively addressing their challenges.
Representatives from municipal departments such as the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and the Municipal Big Data Development Bureau, as well as economic and information departments from districts and counties such as Yubei District, Jiulongpo District, and Bishan District, along with alliance member units, digital transformation experts, financial institutions, and SME public service platforms, attended the event.
