Chongqing - "1003 ROSE POLO CUP" World Women's Polo Rose Cup will be held at Fairy Mountaind·1003 POLO CLUB, the world's first women's polo club, from August 1 to 3. Top polo players from home and abroad will gather in Fairy Mountain in Wulong District, Chongqing, bringing a feast of polo competition for tourists.

Polo originated in China. In the Tang Dynasty, it was a sports event for everyone. Later, polo was introduced to the rest of the world. It integrates speed, skills, and inheritance as one of the world's oldest team sports. It demonstrates the spiritual connotation of "passion, bravery, elegance, and teamwork," making it distinctively charming through thousands of years.

"Fairy Mountain is the optimal place for polo players from all over the world, for it is very suitable for training, vacation, and rest," said Luo Bin, founder of 1003 POLO and a member of the Standing Committee of the Polo Professional Committee of China Equestrian Association (CEA). She stated that since its establishment in 2018, "1003 ROSE POLO CUP" has brought together well-known women polo players worldwide and has enjoyed a global reputation for its professionalism and ornamental and experiential value.

This event attracted top women polo players from Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Switzerland, Argentina, Ireland, and China to compete with each other, jointly creating a world-class 10-level women's polo competition that currently represents the highest level of women's polo in China. This competition will enable more polo enthusiasts from other countries to have a more comprehensive understanding of the development of women's polo in China. While boosting the growth of Chinese women polo players and revitalizing China's polo culture, it will open a new chapter for international sports events in Wulong.
