Chongqing—Loncin Motor Co., Ltd. (Loncin Motor) has made a significant advancement in new energy by developing the industry’s first all-terrain vehicle with a hydrogen fuel cell in Western (Chongqing) Science City.

This all-terrain vehicle can navigate beaches, riverbeds, forest trails, streams, and harsh desert terrains and is designed to transport personnel and goods.

The newly developed hydrogen fuel cell all-terrain vehicle integrates advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology and features an innovative thermal partition design. A stack-specific power density of 2.2 kW/kg delivers efficient, clean, and safe new energy power output. 

This all-terrain vehicle offers a quieter, more comfortable, and pollution-free experience compared to traditional fuel vehicles. It is lighter and more convenient, providing a more extended range and better low-temperature performance than pure electric vehicles.

The successful application of this technology not only solves energy supply challenges for all-terrain vehicles in demanding operations but also provides new perspectives on green transportation. The vehicle’s innovative technology combines the efficiency and cleanliness of hydrogen fuel cells with the flexibility of an integrated power system, delivering high power, efficiency, zero emissions, and an extended range.

Additionally, the vehicle's thermal system partition design incorporates integrated control management for fuel cell energy management, motor power transmission, and precise recognition and output of multiple operating conditions, ensuring optimal performance across various complex terrains.
