The first event was held at Chongqing Jiaotong University on the afternoon of September 13. The program included sessions on legal regulations, visa procedures, and Chongqing's cultural and tourism highlights. Nearly 200 new international students from 36 countries, including Morocco, Benin, Thailand, Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Slovakia, participated in the event.

Officer Li from the Exit and Entry Administration of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau explained key legal regulations relevant to international students, including China's Exit and Entry Administration Law and related ordinances. Following the presentation, the students had the opportunity to complete their visa application interviews on-site with assistance from police officers from the Nan'an District.

Representatives from Chongqing Window of International Culture and Tourism presented Chongqing's unique charm, covering the city's landscapes, cultural assets, and famous cuisine. Through photo exhibitions, interactive Q&A sessions, and promotional videos, students were introduced to key tourist destinations such as Hechuan's Diaoyu Fortress, Liangping's Bamboo Sea, Wushan's Little Three Gorges, and Youyang's Taohuayuan Scenic Area.

Others were eager to explore the city, sharing thoughts like, "Chongqing looks amazing; I can't wait to discover more," and "I'm excited to try Chongqing hotpot!"

Following the success at Chongqing Jiaotong University, the tour will continue at Chongqing University, Southwest University, and Southwest University of Political Science and Law, among others. The events are expected to reach over 2,000 international students in Chongqing and introduce them to the city's vibrant culture and tourism.
