Chongqing - Chongqing High-Speed Rail Measurement and Testing Co., Ltd. (HSR) has received the Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Agency Approval from the Chongqing Administration for Market Regulation.

This certification, covering safety valve calibration (FD1), makes HSR the first private enterprise in the Chongqing High-Tech Zone to qualify for inspecting and testing special equipment such as safety valves.

Maintaining the safety of pressure-bearing equipment is essential, as even minor defects can cause major disasters. Enhancing inspection services helps avoid accidents, safeguard lives, and ensure smooth operations in key industries such as manufacturing and healthcare. As outlined by the Regulations on Periodic Inspection of Pressure Vessels, these valves generally require calibration at least once a year.

As a measurement and calibration services specialist, HSR's accreditation marks a major milestone. This qualification enables the company to offer one-stop safety valve calibration services within the Western (Chongqing) Science City.

According to Wu Xiaobing, the general manager of HSR, the certification process is highly demanding. It requires an independent organizational structure, a sufficient number of certified safety valve inspectors, and the necessary facilities and testing equipment appropriate for the project.

Wu highlighted that the entire process, from material submission to final approval, was completed in under four months. HSR is now fully equipped to provide on-site safety valve calibration, repair, instant reporting, and online calibration with data analysis, addressing the precise measurement needs of sectors like scientific research, industrial production, and healthcare in the region.

As the designated hub for the national inspection and testing of the high-tech services industry, Chongqing High-Tech Zone has made significant strides in advancing this sector. 

Through improved policy support, optimized spatial planning strengthened investment efforts, and the nurturing of key enterprises, the zone has gradually become a comprehensive quality infrastructure center, integrating research, measurement, standards, certification, inspection, and intellectual property services.
