2024 Asian Youth Music Festival to Open in Chongqing

Chongqing - The 2024 Asian Youth Music Festival will be held in Chongqing from November 1 to 3, as announced at a media conference on September 30. This event promises to be a musical celebration and a significant platform for Asian youth to unite and promote cultural exchanges among countries.

Performances featuring Asian artists will be held at the Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium on the evenings of November 2 and 3.

The organizers have officially announced the lineup of artists, which includes China's TF_ing, Dai Quan, Fu Long Fei, LOONG9, Cai Youqi, Huang Minghao, and Jin Runji, along with Hong Kong's Farmer Group, Macao's Long Zilan, and Taiwan's Angela Zhang. Artists from Japan, such as MiyaviI and Daoko, South Korean Jessica, Malaysia's Zhang Dongliang and Zhu Zhuai, Singapore's Huang Yida, Thailand's Mimi, Laos's Hani Xiaokang, Vietnam's Hoang Thuy Linh and Mono, and Brunei's Kamila will also perform. These artists will showcase their classic hits and new creations, offering a captivating audiovisual feast with exciting surprises from mystery guests yet to be revealed.

The festival provides a window for dialogue between Chinese culture and the world, blending traditional Chinese elements with modern musical expressions. Through carefully curated performances and innovative stage designs, the event will showcase Chinese culture's unique charm and innovative spirit.

From November 1 to 3, the festival will host the "Youth Asia: Music by the Rivers" riverside concert and the "Youth Asia: Citywalk through the Mountains" themed activities. Local musicians and traditional cultural performances will shine alongside artists from various Asian nations, creating a vibrant cross-border cultural experience.

From November 2 to 3, Asian diplomats and some young artists will embark on an impromptu "Citywalk." They will visit Bashu Middle School to engage in cultural exchanges with students who have won international choral competitions. Participants will enjoy a scenic ride on the Yangtze River Cableway, explore Nanbin Road, visit the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Hall, and tour the Chongqing Container Center Station in the Tuanjie Village. This immersive experience will deepen their understanding of Chongqing's rich history, cultural achievements, and musical vibrancy.
