Chongqing - Jorah Kai Wood has embraced adventure since moving to Chongqing in 2014. Over the past ten years, he has taught at Chongqing Foreign Language School, captivating his students by weaving cultural elements into his lessons. In addition to teaching, Wood is a prolific writer, publishing eight novels under the name Jorah Kai in the West and Wang Kai in China. Beyond writing and teaching, Wood plays an active role in promoting Chongqing’s culture and tourism, helping to bridge the gap between China and the West. He views China’s rapid development in green energy and technology as a prime example of its leadership in the global movement toward sustainability. In his eyes, the Belt and Road Initiative symbolizes China's pivotal role in shaping the future of international relations.
