Chongqing—The 43rd episode of "Let's Meet," Chongqing's international broadcast program produced by the Western China International Communication Organization, will be aired on Chongqing Satellite TV on October 5. It features a special segment on "Plane vs. Bullet Train.”
In the special episode of "Let's Meet" in August, American influencer Cyrus Janssen visited Chongqing and shared his unique perspective on the city. He particularly noted China's strong and convenient transportation system, which allows residents to travel comfortably between cities via high-speed trains, significantly enhancing their quality of life.
Recently, he invited host Alex to Guangzhou, where Alex and the guest James decided to compete in a "plane vs. high-speed train" race. James would take an airplane, while Alex took the high-speed train, both setting off simultaneously to enjoy the different landscapes along the way and experience varied services. They aimed to evaluate speed and comfort, agreeing that the first to reach Guangzhou would get a chance to interview Cyrus, who has nearly 700,000 YouTube followers!
Alex took a taxi to the high-speed train station 18 kilometers from home and boarded smoothly. He commented that the train was spacious and very stable, with staff attending to elderly passengers in wheelchairs.
On the other hand, James leisurely enjoyed a hotel breakfast before heading to the airport to board his flight. He mentioned that his economy class seat was not as spacious as business class, but the short flight would quickly get him to his destination.
Ultimately, James's flight arrived in Guangzhou before Alex's bullet train. He quickly transferred to the subway and was the first to meet Cyrus for a face-to-face conversation. Alex arrived shortly after, and they shared their travel experiences.
This challenge was not just a simple race but an authentic experience of China's transportation system. After the video was released, it garnered significant attention on social media, with viewers sharing their thoughts on China's transportation.
