Chongqing - As autumn casts its poetic charm over Chongqing, the season beckons adventurers to explore its vibrant landscapes. The Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources and the Chongqing Center for Geographic Information and Remote Sensing Application recently released the "Chongqing Autumn Activities Map." This guide encourages everyone to capture memories of autumn outings in this vibrant season.
Nestled in the heart of Wuxiang County along the Yangtze River, the Wuxia Shennv Scenic Area combines natural beauty with cultural significance. The area is divided into two main sections: the southern line featuring Shennv Creek and Jingtan Peak and the northern line centered around Shennv Peak. Visitors can marvel at the six breathtaking views, such as "Wushan Clouds and Rain" and "Red Leaves on the River."

Located in Nanchuan District at an elevation of 1,300 meters, Shanwangping Karst National Ecological Park is China's first national-level karst ecological park. It covers over 10,000 acres of forest and is recognized as one of the country's premier forest oxygen bars. In autumn, the park's water first turns golden, strikingly contrasting with the evergreen conifers. The park is also home to a rare ecological wonder featuring "stones in trees and trees in stones."

Qianye Pasture, spanning 22 kilometers in Yuchi Town, Shizhu County, is renowned as "Chongqing's Most Beautiful Grassland." In the fall, the firethorn berries paint the hills red, creating a stunning landscape that resembles an oil painting.

Situated in Jiangbei District, Hong'en Temple Forest Park boasts the country's most comprehensive collection of osmanthus varieties, featuring over 10,000 osmanthus trees of more than 60 species.
