Huddersfield—On October 23, the European light art exhibition "Chasing the Light—Pursuing the Dream—Witnessing China," which showcases artistic expressions of Chinese cultural symbols, launched its inaugural showing at the University of Huddersfield.
Counselor Liang Yan from Manchester's Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China attended the opening ceremony. Liang praised, "It fosters a harmonious dialogue rooted in UK-China heritage and plays a crucial role in advancing cultural and educational exchanges."
The exhibition features works primarily created by Chinese artists, collaborative pieces by Chinese and international artists, and independent works by foreign artists. These artworks cleverly integrate Chinese aesthetics into the fabric of European cities, offering a powerful and immersive visual experience that showcases the modern civilization of the Chinese nation to international audiences.
