Chongqing - On October 29th, the organizer of the "Green City · Discover My City" Original Short Video Exhibition shared that, at the participant's request, the deadline for collecting works has been postponed from October 31st, 2024, to November 30th, 2024, the assessment of works has been postponed to December 1st to December 31st, 2024, and the awards ceremony has been postponed to January 2025.

Up to now, the event organizers have received video submissions from elementary and middle school students in areas such as Chongqing and Seattle. Chinese and United States teenagers explore the "green cities" with mobile phones, cameras, and drones, recording their insights and thoughts on low-carbon urban transport, green urban renewal, urban ecosystems, etc.

As the collection time extends, video creators who intend to submit can obtain specific requirements, participation rules, and other related information through the official collection website(https://act.ichongqing.info/api/activity/greencity/rules?lang=english). At the same time, the person in charge of the organizer expressed gratitude for everyone's concern and support for the event. He said that all video creators should strictly abide by the submission rules and upload their works, and hoped that they could discover the "green city" through their exploration.

The "Green City · Discover My City" Original Short Video Exhibition is jointly hosted by the Chongqing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Center for Environmental Education and Communications of Chongqing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, and the Chongqing Education Association for International Exchange and organized by Western China International Communication Organization, aiming further to promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and American youth.
