Gao Anming, Editor-in-Chief of China International Communications Group (CICG), emphasized that the forum has become a crucial platform for deepening understanding and enhancing friendship.
He highlighted that the dialogue's focus on "Civilizational Heritage and Modern Development" was both timely and significant, particularly with the launch of the "Global Civilizations Dialogue Academic Partnership Network." This initiative aims to explore new modes of intellectual exchange in the era of global development.
The event's discussions covered a variety of key topics, including urban exchanges, heritage preservation, and youth innovation. A blend of keynote speeches, research presentations, and thematic sub-forums facilitated a dynamic exchange of ideas.
In a key moment during the event, 53 organizations from over 20 countries, including the Western China International Communication Organization (WCICO), jointly launched the "Global Civilizations Dialogue Academic Partnership Network." The ceremony also marked the debut of the important publication, Six Perspectives of Chinese Modernization Series, available in both English and Spanish.

The program featured a Chinese dragon and lion dance, a performance of La Danza del Dios Sol (The Dance of the Sun God), and traditional Peruvian folk dances, all of which received warm applause from the audience.
The culinary showcase heightened the evening’s atmosphere, with the tantalizing aroma of Chongqing noodles filling the air and a selection of Peruvian specialties prepared by chefs who interacted with guests as they cooked. Attendees were not only treated to an array of delicious dishes but also learned the cultural stories behind them, further strengthening the event’s role as a bridge between civilizations.
