Chongqing - The stars of Mozart l'Opéra Rock recently embarked on a unique journey through the vibrant heart of Chongqing, enjoying a casual city walk with iChongqing's reporter. As they explored the city's mix of ancient temples and modern architecture, the group was struck by the energy and beauty of Chongqing, a place often referred to as China's "Mountain City."

The day began with the discovery of Luohan Temple, a serene space surrounded by towering skyscrapers. The actors marveled at the contrast between the ancient temple and the bustling city around it. "The sense of energy here is so powerful," said Stephanie Schlesser, a musical actress. "It’s moving, even though you don’t know exactly why."

The group continued exploring places like Kuixing Tower and the famous bridges that span the city’s rivers. Yanis Richard, one of the musical actors, shared his love for bridges, viewing them as symbols of connection. "A bridge organizes something; it links things together," he explained. The ferry ride along the river also offered a stunning view of the city, with the waters blending in a beautiful display of colors.

As the day came to a close, the stars reflected on the magic of Chongqing. "This city is full of surprises. It's so beautiful, especially at night when it transforms under the lights," said Laurent Ban. The journey may have covered only a small fraction of the city, but it was enough to leave a lasting impression.
