Chongqing - On November 8, the "Cross-Strait Green Mountains - Thousand Miles of Forest Belt" Video Competition was officially launched. The competition is open to all photographers, and the submission deadline is February 28, 2025.
The activity aims to highlight Chongqing's vibrant ecological civilization, humanistic spirit, and green achievements in forestry development through images, thereby enhancing the promotion of Chongqing's city image.
The competition features five themes, covering the four dimensions of "Protecting Green, Enjoying Green, Utilizing Green, and Appreciating Green:"

Landscape Painting: Presenting the beauty of Chongqing's urban and natural landscapes, highlighting the symbiosis between humans and nature.
Symbiosis of All Creatures: Documenting Chongqing's biodiversity and unique ecological environment, emphasizing the harmonious coexistence of people and animals.
- Green Forest Weaving Dreams: Demonstrating the ecological benefits driven by the development of the forestry industry, with a focus on green development enabled by the industry.
- Forest Protectors: Portraying the dedication of forest protectors and volunteers in safeguarding their green homes, reflecting the spirit of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
In recent years, Chongqing Municipality has taken the "Cross-Strait Green Mountains - Thousand Miles of Forest Belt" project as a link and gradually constructed the “Forest Belt + Industry” development mode through ecological restoration to drive the development of tourism and specialty industries. Up to now, the city has implemented the "Cross-Strait Green Mountains - Thousand Miles of Forest Belt" project of 1.62 million mu (1.08 billion square meters), the total area of economic forests exceeded 16 million mu, and the contribution of forestry accounted for 5.5% of the city's GDP.
