Chongqing -  Africa, with its vast population and rich land resources, possesses tremendous development potential. China's investments in the continent have not only spurred infrastructure growth but also drawn the attention of global investors. In the context of the Global South's rise, David Monyae, Director of the Centre for Africa-China Studies at the University of Johannesburg, highlights the role of BRICS nations and the BRICS Pay cooperation mechanism in advancing Africa's trade development, paving the way for increased economic collaboration across the region.
