Chongqing - The 2024 Lancang-Mekong Tourism Cities Cooperation Alliance Exchange Activity was held in Chongqing. During the activity, we interviewed Rung Kanjanaviroj, the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Chengdu Office.

Rung said Chongqing's city landscape and food would attract Thai tourists, especially the young generation. The city's convenient transportation and facilities will ease people's travel. 

When it comes to the meaning of holding the Lancang—Mekong Tourism Cities Cooperation Alliance Exchange Activity, she notes that it will raise the participant countries' awareness of the importance of cooperation. Meanwhile, it functions as a good platform for everyone to boost communication and exchanges and provide ideal opportunities for allied tourist cities to find potential business partners in tourism.
