Chongqing - On December 3, the Sanhe Primary School girls’ football team from Chongqing's Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County triumphed in the final of the third "Chasing the Wind" National League, securing a dominant 5-0 victory to retain their championship title. Their determination and skill lit up the stadium, showcasing the spirit of this mountain school.
The head coach, Guo Xin, is a retired professional coach. He is admired for his strict training and tactical precision, as well as his dedication to supporting his players both on and off the field. "I am moved by the love these mountain girls have for football," Guo shared. I hope to create more opportunities for them to excel and achieve their dreams in football."
Sanhe Primary’s football program, established 11 years ago, has won over 30 trophies and produced 35 national-level athletes. More than 80 players have joined Chongqing’s city teams. Former principal Sun Xiaoming praised the team’s success, symbolizing hope and perseverance for children in the mountains.
