CCCC is a Chinese majority state-owned company and a leading global provider of comprehensive services for ultra-large infrastructure projects.

Strategically situated near Tuanjiecun Railway Station, the starting point of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) and China-Europe Railway Express (CRE), the park is seamlessly connected to major transport hubs, including Chongqing Railway Port.

Located at the Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park in the Shapingba District of Chongqing, it is just 30 minutes from the city center and within 50 minutes of Guoyuan Port and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, making it an ideal hub for multimodal transportation.

"Chongqing's strategic position at the crossroads of the Belt and Road initiative and Yangtze River Economic Belt. Supported by national strategies like the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the ILSTC, Chongqing has become a key logistics hub and gateway for inland and global trade, making it the ideal choice for the project," said An Zhaofeng, general manager of the cold chain department of CCCC Fourth Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd.

"CCCC Cold Chain (Chongqing) Intelligent Industry Park is a key development in CCCC's logistics and warehousing network in both Chongqing and Southwest China," said Jiang Zhengshun, general manager of CCCC Fourth Harbour Engineering (Chongqing) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd.

Jiang added that the park includes facilities such as an emergency food reserve base, food processing and central kitchen, cold storage co-provisioning center, trading center, ambient temperature distribution center, and ancillary buildings.

Thanks to advances in cold storage technology, consumers can now enjoy fresh cantaloupe, loquats, and other off-season fruits and vegetables year-round. Refrigeration plays a crucial role.

As Southwest China's first ultra-low-temperature green intelligent industry park, the facility employs compounded cold-carrying technology to reduce the greenhouse effect. This technology enables precise temperature control from -55°C to 20°C. The intelligent temperature control system offers a range of storage options, catering to long-term freezing, short-term refrigeration, and specialized temperature needs. Thus, it ensures optimal preservation of meat, seafood, vegetables, and fruit.

In line with carbon neutrality goals, the park's refrigeration system utilizes waste heat emissions and a water-based frost-flushing mode. This system captures and reuses low-temperature water for evaporative cooling, enhancing refrigeration efficiency and reducing energy consumption. The park's rooftop also features a 2.6-megawatt photovoltaic power generation system, generating 1.82 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

Furthermore. the park leverages an intelligent monitoring platform for cold chain logistics, integrating systems such as Order Management (OMS), Warehouse Management (WMS), and Transportation Management (TMS). This seamless linkage enables efficient order processing, warehouse management, and precise distribution scheduling.

Since its opening, over ten enterprises, including Mengniu Dairy, have settled in the park.
