Chongqing- The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 74th episode of "Let's Meet," produced by the Western China International Communication Organization, will be aired on Chongqing Satellite TV on January 22.
Since its launch on May 11 last year, Let's Meet has accompanied you through over 70 exciting episodes. Through our lens, we capture every moment, significant event, and heartbeat of Chongqing. We are there to report it all. Behind the scenes of Let's Meet are the reporters from the WCICO, who passionately and professionally document every important moment. Today, our special program will take you behind the scenes of Let's Meet, reflecting on 2024 through the stories told by our reporters.
"Dialogue" is the interview segment of Let's Meet. In it, we conduct face-to-face interviews with renowned foreign scholars and representatives from international organizations to share their views on China's and Chongqing's development. Behind these valuable interviews lies the hard work and relentless effort of our reporters.
"Faces of Chongqing" is the character feature segment of Let's Meet, where we focus on the lives and struggles of both Chinese and foreign individuals in Chongqing, telling the most vivid stories of the city through their unique experiences and insights. The reporters who create these character feature programs are, in fact, the contributors to the "Faces of Chongqing" segment.
The "iChongqing" segment focuses on Chongqing's culture and tourism. We have explored the mysterious Dazu Rock Carvings, visited the tech-savvy Yongchuan film set, experienced convenient payment systems, and discovered the beautiful countryside of Chongqing... Through the reporters' stories, we have not only introduced the world to Chongqing and made them fall in love with the city but also formed deep friendships with those we interviewed.
The success of Let's Meet is not only due to our wonderful reporters but also to our guests. They add immense color and charm to the program with their own stories and experiences.
