Last year, Chen concentrated on technology-driven private enterprises, offering suggestions on technological innovation and fair market competition. I'm pleased to see that the draft private economy promotion law was introduced last year, with public consultations that included many of my suggestions," Chen told the reporter.
The private economy promotion law is the first law specifically designed to limit public power while supporting the development of the private economy. It represents a significant milestone in the history of China's private economic development and plays a crucial role in establishing and refining the socialist market economy system.
Chen has conducted research on technology companies and participated in industry forums, advocating for improved evaluation methods for tech enterprises. She highlighted the need for long-term, accurate, and diverse sources of innovation capital, as well as creating a fair market environment to ensure that innovative achievements receive proper market rewards.
Besides, Chen expressed concerns about optimizing the business environment. She suggested strengthening the guidance for enterprises and collaborating with them to implement preventive compliance measures, such as compliance education and risk warnings.

Chen also emphasized China's opening up, particularly the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC). She conducted in-depth research on enhancing the corridor's comprehensive service capacity, particularly in developing digital corridors and amplifying the interconnections between the corridor, trade, and industry. "We have seen our network expand, and our overall openness has grown stronger," she noted.
This year, during China's Two Sessions, Chen will continue to focus on the development of technology-driven private enterprises. She observed that domestic AI has rapidly advanced, positioning China with a significant technological advantage.
"I am particularly interested in how we can leverage this technological advantage to meet precise industrial demands, driving intelligent transformation, empowering industries, and promoting high-quality development," she added.
