The highlight of the conference was the unveiling of the alliance's declaration and the inspiring speech by Ran Bin, Chairman of Chongqing Culture and Tourism Group, which was the major host of this event. Ran remarkably proposed 12 ways in which tourism can join hands with other sectors and industries. "We wish to further integrate our tourism with other industries. For instance, tourism can be combined with culture, city view, industrial landscape, shopping, sports, parks, festivals, and so on," said Ran. He urged thinking out of the box to seek new possibilities to develop abundant regional tourism resources.

Chongqing Culture and Tourism Group also revealed six special tourist routes integrating Chongqing and Sichuan's tourism resources. One route revolves around the city view and connects Chongqing's Liziba station with Chengdu's People's Park. Another fascinating route follows the traces of blockbuster films shot in the region, such as Transformers and Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon, which were filmed in Wulong, Chongqing.

Establishing the alliance is expected to drive deeper cooperation between Sichuan and Chongqing, leveraging their unique cultural and natural assets to create innovative tourism products and routes. As a founding member, the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Group will be pivotal in coordinating efforts across government, industry, and research institutions to ensure the corridor's sustainable growth.
