Chongqing—From March 15 to 18, the 2025 Chongqing Dazu Rock Carvings International Tourism and Cultural Festival, alongside the 846th Baoding Temple Fair, will be held in Dazu. The event aims to bring together industry experts to discuss emerging trends in cultural tourism, share best practices, and foster development, all to boost the global visibility and brand influence of Dazu's cultural tourism. The festival also seeks to attract domestic and international visitors to experience and connect with the region’s rich heritage.
During the event, diplomats from countries such as Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Brunei, along with travel industry representatives from across China’s southwest, national media, and influencers from Belarus, South Africa, Italy, and Canada, visited immersive destinations like Longshui Lake Resort, the 8K dome cinema, and the Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Area. These efforts showcased the region's rich history, breathtaking natural scenery, and unique local customs.
