Chongqing - Chongqing's rail transit system, a vital component of the city's urban development, is set for a smart transformation.

Recently, Zhou Hongyi, Founder of 360 Security Group, led a team to Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. for in-depth discussions on how AI can help advance the city's rail system's intelligent upgrade. Key discussion topics included using AI big models in rail transit, creating joint laboratories, data security, and ecological collaboration.

"Chongqing's challenging topography impacts rail transit operations," said Le Mei, Chairwoman of Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. Le hopes that 360 Group's expertise in large models, digital security, and data circulation will help address these challenges and accelerate the development of a smarter, AI-driven rail system driven by technological innovation and data insights.

Zhou highlighted that AI is sparking a revolution similar to the Industrial Revolution. While general AI models are versatile, they often lack the depth required for specialized fields like rail transit. To optimize AI's impact, Zhou suggested that a tailored, industry-specific knowledge base is essential. This would enable AI to act as an "expert assistant," utilizing the company's unique operational data and expertise.

Drawing a parallel to the industrial revolution's shift from steam engines to electric motors, Zhou proposed developing flexible, efficient, and specialized models rather than relying on a single broad AI model. This approach should focus on core operational scenarios, identifying and solving real-world challenges to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
