Top-Ranked Stalls Win Over Crowds at the Land Meets Sea·Chongqing International Cultural Carnival

Chongqing - From July 18 to 20, the Land Meets Sea·Chongqing International Cultural Carnival transformed Jiangbei District's Far Eastern City into a global bazaar, drawing crowds with vibrant music, dazzling crafts, and mouthwatering cuisines from 13 countries. Beyond the cultural showcase and festivities, the event revealed its own “popularity rankings”—a list of international booths that most captured the imagination of Chongqing residents.

Top 10 Most Popular International Stalls

1. Pakistani String Art (Pakistan)

Intricate hand-made string art by a Pakistani artist took the top spot. Using colorful threads and nails, each piece reflected the geometric elegance and diversity of Pakistani culture.

2. Pakistani Food Court (Pakistan)

A close second, this stall wowed visitors with authentic spiced milk tea, creamy rice pudding, crispy fried bread, and richly seasoned beef rice, offering a true taste of South Asia.

3. Eco Bazaar (Russia)

Third place went to this eco-conscious Russian stall featuring matryoshka dolls, second-hand English books, and retro toys, promoting both nostalgia and sustainability.

4. Annie's Phil-Products Sari-sari Store (Philippines)

Philippine snacks, from banana chips to dried mango and coconut candies, won over many with their tropical flavors and fun packaging.

5. KJ's MoonCharms (Philippines)

Handmade jewelry blending ethnic patterns and modern aesthetics drew in fashion lovers, making it the highest-ranked craft stall from Southeast Asia.

6. Logic Wear (Ghana)

Unique T-shirts inspired by the Ghanaian flag and local art styles added a splash of African color to the event.

7.Art Fashion Craft by Kolone (Cameroon)

Distinctive jewelry made from wood and natural stones, decorated with tribal patterns, brought Cameroon’s traditional style to life.

8.Sweet Berry (Liberia)

Traditional attire and accessories, especially the eye-catching headscarves, invited visitors to try on the spirit of Liberia.

9.KABA Art Space (Rwanda)

Bold, colorful prints and expressive paintings from a Rwandan artist offered a glimpse of Africa’s wild beauty.

10.American Beer (USA)

This booth offered more than drinks—T-shirts and live hip-hop performances created an all-American experience.

Beyond the Top 10, other notable stalls included Turkish mosaic lamps and handicrafts, Italian paintings and vintage cameras, Indian naan and curries, Indonesian coffee and traditional wear, and Sri Lankan souvenirs. Italy’s “MIMOSA” booth, featuring authentic pizza and desserts, also proved a crowd favorite.

Whether it was the vibrant hues of Ghana’s shirts, the tempting snacks from the Philippines, or the spicy aromas of Indian cuisine, the event’s ranking reflected Chongqing’s passion for multicultural exchange. The carnival became more than a marketplace—it was a living bridge of friendship, creativity, and shared memories, built with every conversation and every purchase.

Thanks to the international “cultural ambassadors” who brought their creativity and passion to Chongqing, this global gathering became a true celebration of diversity.
