Luxury EV Brand AVATR 11 Debuts in Singapore, Marking Southeast Asia Entry

Chongqing - Luxury electric vehicle brand AVATR has debuted in Southeast Asia with its flagship model, the AVATR 11, in Singapore. Priced from SGD 278,999 (approximately USD 216,751), the launch at Capella Singapore marks a key step in the brand’s regional expansion.

AVATR is a joint venture founded in 2018 by Chinese state-owned automaker Changan Automobile, battery giant CATL, and tech powerhouse Huawei. The AVATR 11 represents the culmination of that collaboration—a fusion of futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and electric performance.

Shen emphasized that Singapore plays a vital role in the brand’s regional expansion and expressed enthusiasm for advancing the next phase of growth in the market.

Premium Automobiles Group, a longstanding leader in Singapore's automotive sector since bringing Audi to the market in 1999, is now the exclusive retail partner for AVATR in Singapore. The company is set to drive the brand’s entry into the local market with its lineup of premium all-electric vehicles.

To commemorate its arrival, AVATR hosted an exclusive brand showcase that welcomed media, partners, and tastemakers to experience the AVATR 11 up close for the first time. The highlight was a dramatic on-stage reveal of the AVATR 11 by Singaporean celebrity Fann Wong, alongside Dean Sciole, Chief Global Brand and Communications of AVATR, adding a touch of glamour and emotion to the highly anticipated moment.

The AVATR 11 is a mid-size SUV that combines sleek, supercar-inspired design with everyday practicality. Measuring 4,880 mm long with a near-golden-ratio wheelbase, it boasts an elegant floating body, signature F-shaped LED lights, and a panoramic glass roof. Available in six color options, including Matte White and Liquid Caramel, the model has won the 2024 Red Dot Design Award for its bold aesthetics.

Two battery variants are available: 90kWh and 116kWh, both supplied by CATL. The vehicle supports ultra-fast charging, with the smaller battery going from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. The standard model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.

Inside, the AVATR 11 emphasizes serenity and sophistication. Nappa leather Zero-Gravity seats with massage, heating, and ventilation functions offer comfort, while a wraparound triple-screen display and 25-speaker Meridian system provide a high-tech, immersive driving experience.

"Design is about emotion, and AVATR expresses the connection between form, identity, and movement in a way few vehicles do," said Sciole.
