Chongqing— Right now, it’s the breathtaking season when millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other wild animals make their epic migration across the Mara River. Amid this vibrant savanna teeming with life, two men from Chongqing arrived in Africa to run a hotel—only to unexpectedly become “Chinese fathers” to 29 African girls.
What began as a business venture evolved into a mission of compassion: from operating a hotel to building a shelter, from founding a school to planting the seeds of hope through Chinese vocational education.
Together, they help safeguard the land shared by humans and wildlife, ensuring the rhythm of life in the Maasai Mara endures. Their spirit of universal love and service embodies the deepest essence of the “Chongqing spirit” left behind on these timeless plains.
