Chongqing-The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 144th episode of “Let’s Meet,”(Special Episode) titled “Bridging Rivers and Seas, Sharing Wisdom of Civilizations”, jointly produced by the Western China International Communication Organization and Chongqing Satellite TV, was aired on both domestic and international media on September 24.
From the Nile's banks to the Yangtze shores, China and Egypt launched a cultural dialogue, linked by their great rivers. Activities such as the joint World Heritage nomination of Chongqing’s Baiheliang inscriptions and Egypt’s Nilometer carvings, live ICH showcases, and youth dialogues around “mother rivers”. A series of exchange activities is revitalizing these two ancient civilizations in the new era.
