Chongqing - On Nov 8, the iconic skyline of Chongqing witnessed a successful conclusion of the third annual Raffles City Chongqing Vertical Run. The event served as the grand finale of the nationwide "Feel Free to Run" campaign, jointly initiated by CapitaLand Development (China) and the fitness technology platform Keep.
The race drew over 400 participants from diverse backgrounds, including elite athletes, local football stars, corporate partners, and fitness enthusiasts, who converged to challenge themselves. They ascended 42 floors and 1,178 steps, racing from the ground floor to the top of the city, a distance of 250 meters, where breathtaking panoramic views awaited.

This year's competition featured a diverse field, with categories for elite, public, and team participants. Champions were crowned across these groups, with elite winners Xue Jiandong (Male) and Feng Dan (Female) showcasing impressive performances.

The broader "Feel Free to Run" campaign has made a significant nationwide impact, engaging over 430,000 participants through online challenges and physical "Runner's Hub" pop-ups in some cities. These initiatives offered curated running routes, fostering a sense of community and encouraging an active lifestyle.
