Chongqing — To mark Singapore’s 60th National Day and the 35th anniversary of China–Singapore diplomatic relations, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry has launched HELLO Singapore · Singapore Fiesta, a multi-city celebration spanning Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Suzhou. The Chongqing stop of the festival is being held from Dec. 12 to 16 at Chaotianmen Square, offering residents and visitors a five-day cultural and culinary showcase inspired by Singapore’s diverse urban life.
The festival features immersive cultural zones inspired by Singapore’s iconic neighborhoods, alongside a cultural market and a wide range of authentic Singaporean cuisine. Designed to combine cultural immersion with public engagement, the event highlights Singapore’s multicultural heritage while serving as a platform for cultural exchange and deeper interaction between China and Singapore. Through food, themed experiences, and live activities, the Chongqing stop offers visitors a close-up look at Singapore’s contemporary lifestyle and cultural character.
