Why China⑥ | Norwegian Vlogger Shares Her Gut-Driven Journey to China

Chongqing - As China's 2026 "Two Sessions" get underway, international voices are sharing their perspectives on the country through the #WhyChina campaign launched by the Western China International Communication Organization. The online initiative, hosted on global social media platforms such as Facebook and X, invites foreign scholars, global key opinion leaders (KOLs), community opinion leaders (COLs), and overseas netizens to share their experiences with China.

A year ago, Norwegian vlogger Lisa made a bold move to China, guided entirely by her intuition. “I didn’t know exactly why at the time, but something inside me kept telling me I had to come to China,” she said.

Over the past year, Lisa has made Shanghai her home base while traveling across the country. She has been learning Chinese, exploring urban life, and experiencing local culture. “China is full of opportunities and energy,” she said. “The people are incredibly friendly, and there is so much to explore.”

Lisa plans to continue her journey and share her experiences with a broader audience through her social media channels. Her story reflects the spirit of curiosity and openness that the #WhyChina campaign aims to highlight, showing how foreign visitors perceive China beyond headlines and statistics.
