Chongqing - As China's 2026 "Two Sessions" just concluded, international voices are sharing their perspectives on the country through the #WhyChina campaign launched by the Western China International Communication Organization. The online initiative, hosted on global social media platforms such as Facebook and X, invites foreign scholars, global key opinion leaders (KOLs), community opinion leaders (COLs), and overseas netizens to share their experiences with China.
Why focus on China? Pakistani journalist Zamir, who has reported on China for 11 years, says his primary focus is China's peaceful rise. He frankly admits that China's development, especially its efforts in poverty alleviation and achieving moderate prosperity, has boosted the global economy. He hopes this year's "Two Sessions" in China will bring more opportunities for development to the world.
