Chongqing - The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 218th episode of "Let's Meet," titled “Odie's Amazing Vacation in Chongqing”, jointly produced by the Western China International Communication Organization and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be aired on both domestic and international media on June 10.

In the previous episode, we followed WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo to Chongqing to learn how the city’s early warning system works. But in this trip, her focus isn’t limited to just one city. From international cooperation to climate governance, discussions unfold across multiple levels. In this episode of Bridging News, we will hear her observations on future climate challenges.

What would it be like if a black-headed gull could guide us around Chongqing? This time, a creative animation uses the gull’s perspective to connect the city and its landscapes. It is not only a nationally protected second-class animal but also a "witness" of the Yangtze River ecology. From the river to urban spaces, familiar sights take on a fresh view. In this episode of iChongqing, let's follow it and see Chongqing from a different angle.

In Chongqing, there is a person who always appears in old streets, historic sites, and overlooked corners—she is He Qin, a cultural heritage protection volunteer. Over the years, she has carried her camera into these places time and again, capturing the city’s past bit by bit. From a personal interest to years of commitment, these images have gradually formed a collective memory of the city. In this episode of Faces of Chongqing, let's step into her story.

Recently, Chongqing's "15th Five-Year Plan" has drawn attention. Media outlets, including Hong Kong's Ta Kung Wen Wei Media and the Global Times English edition, reported that Chongqing aims to become an inland open comprehensive hub, with its regional GDP expected to reach 4 trillion yuan by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
Meanwhile, the 2026 World Intelligence Expo opened in Tianjin, with Chongqing as a co-host. A total of 211 Chinese and international media outlets, including Yahoo Finance and Kyodo News, reported that the Chongqing pavilion, centered on the "AI+" theme, highlighted ZXMOTO's 820RR.
Additionally, Chongqing's International Animation Film Week and its urban landscapes continued to draw attention from media outlets such as CGTN and Channel News Asia. On overseas social media, topics like the "8D" cityscape became trending. A video by travel blogger @holasoy.natasha exploring Kuixing Tower garnered over 5.1 million views.
"Let's Meet" airs every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 PM on Chongqing Satellite TV. It is also simultaneously released on the Let's Meet official WeChat Channels, Bridging News app, iChongqing website, Facebook and YouTube channel, WCICO's global communication matrix platform, and Chongqing Satellite TV's new media matrix.
